The NASF OBJECTIVE is to restore salmon stocks to historic abundance. NASF knows that MORE SALMON bring
more diversity and ensures a profitable sport fishery. They believe COMMERCIAL AGREEMENTS are the key.
NASF's NUMBER ONE PRIORITY IS TO END ALL INTERCEPTORY MIXED STOCK FISHERIES:
- They promote authentic conservation
- They respect historic rights of netsmen
- They pay the netsmen not to fish for salmon
- They help arrange alternative sustainable fishing for the netsmen.
NASF works with netsmen to make the North Atlantic environment a showcase example of bio-diversity and sustainable development.
